Sep 6, 2016 | Vacation Jewelry
I love to travel. Whether it’s a road trip to a sunny Florida beach, a weekend away in a city I’ve never been to, or an extended stay in a more exotic locale, I enjoy exploring and experiencing new things. From trying the local cuisine to visiting the cultural hot spots, there’s always something new to discover. And getting there can be fun, too! It’s so exciting to jump in a car or board an airplane and know that you’ll soon be in a completely different place. Because I know how important it is to remain fashionable while away, today I?m going to give you some pointers on traveling with your jewelry. What you should take, what you should leave at home, what you should pair together–I?m going to cover it all. Packing for vacation can be a pain. What clothes and shoes you take depend on factors like weather and your planned activities, so you have some guidance there. But deciding what jewelry to bring with you can be a challenging task. While you want to look as fabulous as possible during your time of relaxation and fun, you also don?t want to risk losing your most valuable jewelry. When packing for your trip, my first bit of advice is to leave your expensive and/or sentimental jewelry at home!…

I don?t know about you guys, but I absolutely love all the amazing outdoor activities that the summer and fall bring. My schedule is already packed with bonfires, hikes, and cookouts with friends. But I?ve also made room for one of my favorite events–music festivals! It seems like the number of music festivals is on the rise every year, and I try to attend whenever I can. Not only do I hear live music, but I meet so many interesting people, too. I always have a blast. But let me tell you–trying to find an outfit that is comfortable (especially in the sticky heat of summer and early fall) yet fashionable can be a real pain. Luckily, festival fashion has grown in popularity (hello fringe shirts!), so I usually don?t have much trouble on the clothing side of things. And I have a few tips and trends I always follow that make accessorizing with jewelry a breeze. Festivals are hot and crowded, and you?re usually on your feet most of the time. So I never want anything too bulky or heavy. Simple, lightweight pieces are best. And I recommend leaving the expensive, sentimental jewelry at home. You don?t want to worry about grandma?s pearl ring slipping off while you?re getting your dance on. My go-to style for festival jewelry is…
Aug 5, 2016 | Summer Fashion
Hi friends! I don?t know about you, but I?m currently inside, glued to my air conditioner, and I never want to leave. Most mornings just making the trek from house to car feels like I?m walking through an oven. In fact, I?m pretty sure my hair is frizzing up every time I just look out the window. We?re in the dog days of summer, and I just want to stay inside, or possibly move to Antarctica. But because you know, I?m a person who has work and a life and stuff, I do have to venture outside. The one thing that makes these sweltering days a bit more bearable is SUMMER FASHION (in all caps because I love it that much). My usual summer go-to is a patterned sundress and wedges or a cute shirt/shorts combo paired with gladiator sandals. And of course my outfit isn?t complete without a little bit of bling. There are a few hot jewelry trends that have really been popular this summer and that I?ve been incorporating into my daily fashion routine. And the great thing is that they are so easy for anyone to wear! It?s All in the Details I love making a bold statement with a big necklace. But sometimes I want to be bold on a smaller scale, and layering dainty…
Jul 27, 2016 | Wedding Fashion
I adore weddings. You eat delicious cake, dance the night away, and witness two people in love start the next chapter of their lives together. What?s not to like? But one of my favorite parts of a wedding doesn?t even happen at the actual ceremony or reception–it happens before. You know where I?m going with this. Yes, I love–and I mean love–choosing the perfect outfit to wear. Anytime I get to dress up and be fancy is a good time, so you know I?m going to get excited. The type of ceremony and reception I attend is usually my greatest outfit influencer. If I?m going to an evening shindig at a elegant venue, I might go for a long cocktail dress and heels. An outdoor afternoon wedding means I throw on a tea-length dress and wedges, and take a gauzy wrap if the weather is going to be on the cooler side. But there is one wedding fashion rule I try to keep in mind when choosing an outfit: Do not upstage the bride. This is obvious, but I?m mentioning it anyway. Weddings are not the place to debut that strapless white dress you found at last year?s Labor Day sales. And it?s not just about clothing?what jewelry you wear matters too. So, how do you look on point with…
