It’s Time for Fall Jewelry Fashion!

It’s Time for Fall Jewelry Fashion!

This Thursday marks the official beginning of fall! This is very exciting news because with fall comes new fashion, and specifically, new jewelry trends. I love the changing of the seasons, because it gives us the opportunity to completely overhaul our look. Every season, I incorporate something new into my jewelry wardrobe that complements my favorite, will-wear-them-forever pieces. I mentioned chokers in my last post, and I have been loving them for both casual and more elegant occasions. Here are some other interesting trends from New York Fashion Week that will be popular in the coming months. Interesting Earrings While this trend seems a little unorthodox, mismatched earrings are fall?s newest fad. Both celebrities on the red carpet and models on the runway are trying it out. With thi look, earrings should still coordinate in style or color, but should not be identical. I haven’t decided if I’ll be trying this trend out or not, as it is a little out there. However, if you have a bold style and decide to give it a go, comment below and let me know how it goes! A Punch of Punk Punk fashion has made a revival for the first time since the ?90s. Safety pins, unusual piercings, and ear cuffs have all been present on the runway recently. While I?m not…

4 Ways to Style Your Jewelry Like a Celebrity

Of course, my eyes go straight to the jewelry! The jewelry that?s worn with a gown or a suit can make or break the entire look. Thankfully, many celebrities have amazing stylists to do all the work for them. But I want to let you all in on some helpful ways you can bring the celeb red carpet look home. 1. Cuff It Up Cuff bracelets are very trendy today, and celebrities are repeatedly bringing this trend to the red carpet. Cuffs make a statement, and there are so many ways to wear?them. While some celebs go with one simple cuff to complete their look, others will stack multiple chunky cuffs on their?arms. I love wearing a statement cuff bracelet over a tight, long-sleeve dress or top. However you choose to wear them, cuffs are a great way to get noticed and get in touch with your celebrity style! 2. Get Your Neckline Noticed Attention grabbing necklaces have always been in style both on and off the red carpet, but today?s celebrity trends up the ante. Many celebs are wearing long, flashy…

It’s Wedding Season! Be the Best Dressed Guest

It’s Wedding Season! Be the Best Dressed Guest

I adore weddings. You eat delicious cake, dance the night away, and witness two people in love start the next chapter of their lives together. What?s not to like? But one of my favorite parts of a wedding doesn?t even happen at the actual ceremony or reception–it happens before. You know where I?m going with this. Yes, I love–and I mean love–choosing the perfect outfit to wear. Anytime I get to dress up and be fancy is a good time, so you know I?m going to get excited. The type of ceremony and reception I attend is usually my greatest outfit influencer. If I?m going to an evening shindig at a elegant venue, I might go for a long cocktail dress and heels. An outdoor afternoon wedding means I throw on a tea-length dress and wedges, and take a gauzy wrap if the weather is going to be on the cooler side. But there is one wedding fashion rule I try to keep in mind when choosing an outfit: Do not upstage the bride. This is obvious, but I?m mentioning it anyway. Weddings are not the place to debut that strapless white dress you found at last year?s Labor Day sales. And it?s not just about clothing?what jewelry you wear matters too. So, how do you look on point with…

Welcome to The Jewelry Find Blog

Welcome to The Jewelry Find Blog

Hi everyone, Welcome to my blog! I?m so glad you decided to check it out. I started writing this as an extension of my vlog series, where I show off some pretty fabulous jewelry from amazing designers and offer up style tips. I love what I do, and I really enjoy helping people discover new things that they?ll love, too. This blog is a way for me to continue doing that. Have you ever stopped to think how jewelry is so woven into our daily lives? We wear rings to symbolize our commitment of love to another person, or put on a string of heirloom pearls to remember a grandmother. We throw on a statement collar necklace if we?re in a bold mood on a Friday night, or a pair of delicate studs for an elegant, job-interview worthy look. Jewelry plays an essential role in how we represent our style and ourselves.? Starting from a young age, I?ve been lucky enough to interact with some of the world?s top jewelry designers. I grew up passionate about jewelry and fashion in general, and carried those interests with me when I went to college. A BA in Communications and Media Studies, a BA in Textiles Merchandising, and Design, and an MFA in Fashion Design later, and here I am, so excited to…
