I know I’ve talked about wedding style and engagement jewelry a lot lately. But as I’ve mentioned before, I truly feel that your engagement ring is one of the most valuable pieces of jewelry you’ll ever wear, so it should really represent who you are! I just filmed a vlog with Precision Set Fine Jewelry Works, who have really stunning engagement rings that are available in a variety of center stone cuts. I figured exploring diamond cuts and showing how each cut fits with your personality and style could be super helpful. Your center stone is the part of your ring that stands out the most. It’s an important element of your ring, so you want to choose it carefully. Obviously you’ll want to consider the size of the stone, but before you do that, you probably want to settle on a cut. Every diamond cut says something specific about the woman who wears it. Now, some of you may already know exactly what you do and don’t like. But for those of you who aren’t sure, I’m going to tell you what type of personality each diamond cut represents to help you find the ring that best embodies you. I?ll start with the traditional round cut diamond. The round cut diamond is one of the most popular cuts for…

This Thursday marks the official beginning of fall! This is very exciting news because with fall comes new fashion, and specifically, new jewelry trends. I love the changing of the seasons, because it gives us the opportunity to completely overhaul our look. Every season, I incorporate something new into my jewelry wardrobe that complements my favorite, will-wear-them-forever pieces. I mentioned chokers in my last post, and I have been loving them for both casual and more elegant occasions. Here are some other interesting trends from New York Fashion Week that will be popular in the coming months. Interesting Earrings While this trend seems a little unorthodox, mismatched earrings are fall?s newest fad. Both celebrities on the red carpet and models on the runway are trying it out. With thi look, earrings should still coordinate in style or color, but should not be identical. I haven’t decided if I’ll be trying this trend out or not, as it is a little out there. However, if you have a bold style and decide to give it a go, comment below and let me know how it goes! A Punch of Punk Punk fashion has made a revival for the first time since the ?90s. Safety pins, unusual piercings, and ear cuffs have all been present on the runway recently. While I?m not…

I love to travel. Whether it’s a road trip to a sunny Florida beach, a weekend away in a city I’ve never been to, or an extended stay in a more exotic locale, I enjoy exploring and experiencing new things. From trying the local cuisine to visiting the cultural hot spots, there’s always something new to discover. And getting there can be fun, too! It’s so exciting to jump in a car or board an airplane and know that you’ll soon be in a completely different place. Because I know how important it is to remain fashionable while away, today I?m going to give you some pointers on traveling with your jewelry. What you should take, what you should leave at home, what you should pair together–I?m going to cover it all. Packing for vacation can be a pain. What clothes and shoes you take depend on factors like weather and your planned activities, so you have some guidance there. But deciding what jewelry to bring with you can be a challenging task. While you want to look as fabulous as possible during your time of relaxation and fun, you also don?t want to risk losing your most valuable jewelry. When packing for your trip, my first bit of advice is to leave your expensive and/or sentimental jewelry at home!…

Hey everyone, Bridal season is in full swing, and while I?ve already talked about jewelry style for the wedding guest, now it?s time to talk about the main attraction?the bride! For just about any woman, the actual wedding day is the most important bridal moment. But the engagement takes top priority, too. Where a woman gets engaged (public or private space), how it happens (flash mob or dinner at a favorite restaurant), and the people involved (20 friends or just the couple) are major factors. And obviously the ring itself is a significant part of that moment and beyond. A woman?s engagement ring will likely be the most expensive piece of jewelry she ever owns. Along with the sentimental value that?s attached to it, finding the perfect ring to match your personal style?or to nudge?your significant other in the right direction?is crucial. Now I know that for a lot of ladies, engagement ring daydreaming starts on Pinterest early in a relationship, or even before there actually is a relationship. No judgment here! You deserve the best and most beautiful engagement ring, and it takes time to hone in on what fits that vision for you. There are so many different factors that are combined to create your ideal ring, such as the center stone size and cut, the setting, and…

I don?t know about you guys, but I absolutely love all the amazing outdoor activities that the summer and fall bring. My schedule is already packed with bonfires, hikes, and cookouts with friends. But I?ve also made room for one of my favorite events–music festivals! It seems like the number of music festivals is on the rise every year, and I try to attend whenever I can. Not only do I hear live music, but I meet so many interesting people, too. I always have a blast. But let me tell you–trying to find an outfit that is comfortable (especially in the sticky heat of summer and early fall) yet fashionable can be a real pain. Luckily, festival fashion has grown in popularity (hello fringe shirts!), so I usually don?t have much trouble on the clothing side of things. And I have a few tips and trends I always follow that make accessorizing with jewelry a breeze. Festivals are hot and crowded, and you?re usually on your feet most of the time. So I never want anything too bulky or heavy. Simple, lightweight pieces are best. And I recommend leaving the expensive, sentimental jewelry at home. You don?t want to worry about grandma?s pearl ring slipping off while you?re getting your dance on. My go-to style for festival jewelry is…
